As a member of Ontario Genealogical Society since 2008, Dianna is currently the Chair of the British Home Child Special Interest group and a Niagara Branch council member and previously served a two-year term as Director at Large for OGS. 

Over the last four years, Dianna has also chaired three OGS Conference organizing committees and had been involved as a volunteer in conferences before that. 

Dianna believes that everyone needs to know where they come from, promoting and speaking about Home Children to educate and inform people is what Dianna likes to do and has done on several occasions both here in Canada and the USA.  

Dianna’s grandfather was a home child coming to Canada at the age of 7 and his older brother followed six months later.
