​David Muir on Finding Your Roots

David Muir is the Great Grandson of British Home Child Archibald Muir. BHC Archibald came to Canada in 1886 with the Quarriers. In 1886 he would have been taken to the receiving home of Annie MacPherson in Bellville, Ontario (Brockville was not yet open) before being put out to work as a child farm labourer. The show also says his sister Elizabeth also came as a BHC. Although, they do NOT use the term BHC or really seemed to know what it was!! Neither do they seem to know that there is a strong possibility that records exsist in Scotland for Archibald and his sister (potential brother David Muir in the same party of children)
