In 1938, Mstr R Hannan, 11, arrived at Fremantle, Australia, in a group of Catholic boys from Nazareth House, Southampton, England.

Reginald was sent to Clontarf and evacuated to Tardun in 1942. He was finally transferred to Bindoon in October 1944.

Reginald returned to England after leaving Bindoon,and in 1946 he joined the British Army.

Reginald Hannan died in 1990 back in Southend-on-Sea.
