Notes

A birth registration was found for Dennis R. Silver: Mother's Maiden Name: Chandler; Quarter of Registration: Oct Nov Dec 1931; District: Kingsclere; Volume: 2c; page: 381.

In 1937, D. Silver, 7, arrived at Melbourne, Australia, in a group of children from Fairbridge Farm School, Savoy House, Strand, London.

Dennis felt that Molong was "tough but fair."

He said the farm-school children could turn on their own weak. A mildly retarded boy was "picked on by the other 160" and he had such psychological and mental problems that he ended up in a mental home. Another killed himself.

Dennis Silver was residing in 1984 in St. Ives, Sydney, Australia.
