Parents: Frederick Taylor and Emily Ruth Clinton, married 1910 in Southwark, Greater London, England.

In 1924, Bertie J. H. G. Taylor, 7, arrived at Fremantle, Australia, in a group of 26 children from the Child Emigration Society, Strand, London, England. He was placed in Nelson Cottage at Fairbridge Farm School, Pinjarra, Australia.

Bertie J. H. G. Taylor died February 22, 1940 at the age of 24. He is buried at Fairbridge Cemetery. The cemetery is located a couple of kilometres past the farm and beyond the second gravel pit. Containing some 24 graves, this is a very secluded and peaceful resting place. The cemetery is well tended.
